Navient Executive Assessment and Coaching services include:
- Executive Team Assessment - Navient consultants work with an organization’s CEO or Board to provide an objective evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the executive team. The assessment process focuses on executive team dynamics, as well as the capabilities of specific individuals. Each executive receives extensive feedback about strengths and developmental areas. The Executive Team Assessment is often part of a broader Talent Management or Succession process. It is also valuable after mergers and acquisitions or when an organization is embarking upon a new strategic direction.
- Individual Executive Assessment – These executive assessments are often part of the selection or development process and involve an in-depth interview which focuses on education, work history, background, self-perceptions, goals and specific career achievements. Standardized tests and behavioral questionnaires may also be used to provide normative data. Individual executive assessments that are part of an executive team assessment or internal development process generally include 360 questionnaires or interviews. A similar assessment process can be customized for the needs of specific organizations and designed for any level of leader or manager.
For selection assessments feedback is provided to the hiring executive on the candidate's strengths, developmental needs and potential limitations relative to the position in question. The end result is a written report which focuses on conceptual skills, ability to learn and adapt, motivational factors, interpersonal skills and leadership style. The executive being assessed is provided with comprehensive feedback presented in a face-to-face session with the psychologist.
- Executive and Leadership Coaching – Navient offers in-depth, individualized coaching programs designed to enhance performance of new or experienced leaders. Our consultants develop a coaching contract before each assignment articulating specific objectives and time frames. The coaching process is designed to achieve maximum impact on specific objectives. The process involves monthly face-to-face meetings with interim phone follow-ups. Individual assessments combined with interviews of key individuals are part of the diagnostic process and serve as a guide for on-going actions.
